The collapse of a scaffolding platform during construction at Port Everglades killed two workers and critically injured a third this morning, The Miami Herald reported. According to port authorities, the Broward County Public Works employees were conducting routine maintenance when a scissor lift fell on its side, sending them several stories onto the pavement below.
