The site of a Wendy’s restaurant in Miami’s Brickell area changed hands for $10.5 million.
Coral Gables-based law firm Forrest, Ruffner, Traum and Hagen sold the 200 Southwest Eighth Street property in a transaction recorded last week, according to Miami-Dade County records. The buyer of the 3,224-square-foot restaurant building is Brickell City Rentals of Miami. Brickell City is managed by Juan Cachoua.
Forrest, Ruffner gave Brickell City a $5.3 million mortgage as part of the transaction. The loan balance must be paid by May 2019.
The restaurant building was constructed on the 26,600-square-foot property in 1979. — Eric Kalis
