A grand and historic home has hit the market in Palm Beach asking $14.5 million.
Designed by noted society architects John Volk and Gustav Maass in 1929, the Mediterranean-style house stands on a prime Estate Section street. The four-story home features seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms — plus three half-baths — a tower, staff rooms and 13,077 square feet of living space, according to the Palm Beach Daily News.
“I thought the house was magical when I bought it in 1998, and I still think it’s magical,” owner Merrilyn Bardes said.
Sotheby’s International Realty agents Cristina Condon and Todd Peter have the listing, which is located at 196 Banyan Road. [PBDN] – Christopher Cameron
