Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Randy Starks recently signed a new contract with the team. Now, the athlete has put pen to paper on another contract: a home purchase in Davie for $1.9 million.
The 9,631-square-foot house, which is located at 12723 Grand Oaks Drive, was sold by Debra Attonito and Joseph Attonito, who paid $497,500 for the lot in 2005, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
Starks paid cash for the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home.
The defensive lineman re-signed with the Dolphins last month, agreeing to a two-year, $12 million contract.
This is hardly Starks first venture into real estate. Back in February 2013, Starks bought a 2,680-square-foot, three-bedroom unit in the La Rive Condominium in Fort Lauderdale for $839,000. The previous month, Starks sold a different home in Davie for $849,900. [SFBJ] – Christopher Cameron
