Publix Super Markets has picked up a future store site in southern Miami-Dade County for $11.3 million.
The Lakeland-based grocery chain acquired most of a 30-acre site on the southeast corner of Old Cutler Road and Southwest 208th Street in Cutler Bay, South Florida Business Journal reported. GCF Investments is the seller. The company is managed by Jorge Garcia-Sarraff.
As part of the transaction, GCF has a four-year option agreement to repurchase the site, which the company has owned since 1986. [South Florida Business Journal] — Eric Kalis
