Positano Beach rendering
The developer of Margaritaville in Hollywood Beach has started construction on a boutique condominium project about a mile north of the Jimmy Buffett-themed resort.
Lon Tabatchnick began building the 17-unit Positano Beach next to his Villas at Positano development, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Positano Beach unit prices range from $1.5 million to $2 million. The seven-story building is scheduled for completion in early 2015.
Tabatchnick completed Villas at Positano in 2007. He has held onto the adjacent Positano Beach site since finishing that project.
The $147 million Margaritaville is expected to be finished in late 2015. [Sun-Sentinel] — Eric Kalis
