South Florida hotels are hoping to lure more eco-conscious guests by offering charging stations for electric and hybrid cars.
The PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens is installing plug-in stations for guests, according to the Sun-Sentinel. ”We feel strongly about taking a leadership position in environmental responsibility and setting a good example for our community,” Joel Paige, the resort’s vice president and managing director, said in a statement.
The landmark Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach and the Four Seasons Miami hotel have charging stations installed by Miami Beach-based Car Charging Group, according to the company’s website.
