After selling a North Bay Road manse for $30 million in May, New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez has picked up a new pad for the more modest sum of $2.1 million.
Rodriguez, 38, who’s appealing a 211-game suspension for his use of performance-enhancing drugs, bought a 1,725-square-foot condo on the 11th floor of the Mei building, Gossip Extra reported, citing public records.
Built in 2008, the beachfront Mei at 5875 Collins Ave. is designed to emphasize “harmony” and “mind relaxation,” the website said. [Gossip Extra] — Emily Schmall
