1000 Museum rendering
A pawn shop adjacent to the site of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid’s 1000 Museum could be incorporated into the project, exMiami reported.
Plans the high-rise developer, Gregg Covin, submitted to the city of Miami last week include a property currently housing a pawn shop on Northeast Second Avenue, according to the site.
The plans call for 941,000 square feet of floor area and 6,800 square feet of restaurant space.
Hadid, who is based in London, could personally appear before a city review board next week to present the project, the site reported. [exMiami] –Emily Schmall
